OCTOBER
9-We had a meeting in which we discussed all the projects and their level of difficulties. Then we finally decided to do ?Road Map? project. Also we have decided about the allocation of workload to the various groups. 

10-I went over the lecture slides on structures. 

11-I studied structures using some programs from the internet.

12-Our project TA confirmed that project to be ?Banking?.I attended our group discussion regarding handling of structures.

13-Since the project topic had been altered I looked up the internet for basic banking features and what are the procedures of opening and closing an account in a bank, types of accounts, withdrawal and deposit of amount.

14-Due to some urgent work, I was unable to attend the group discussion held. I later sought help of my fellow group member Tresa James who told me that in the meeting we learnt ?how to handle the files? and their functions. 

15-I studied file-handling from the lecture-slides put up on moodle, and came across several doubts about syntax and how the various file-handling functions are used.

16-Batch meeting-11:30-12:30
Decided which group will be taking up which aspect of the program and my group decided that we will be developing the function definitions and will be developing the program for various possible cases.

Joined the batch id to enhance my communication among my peers.
Clarified my doubts with members of my group during the lab hours and used the link on cplusplusreference.com provided in the lab assignment to enhance my knowledge on file-handling.

17-We had a meeting in the evening from 5:00-6:30 where we decided on our approach to the project and how to handle different kind of functions. 

18-Our from 4:00-6:00 on Monday where we all discussed the program and checked our progress and I was allocated to do a function which enables intra-bank fund transfer.

I started my attempt at writing the function allotted to me by first understanding the skeleton program written by my group leader Madhav wherein I took account of the global variables which I would have to use in my function. Next I understood how fund-transfers take place within a bank by looking up the internet on this topic.

I wrote a basic program for my function with some help from a fellow group member, Tresa James. I was not able to complete it due to paucity of time.

        Our group had a meeting from 10.45 to 12 where I presented my preliminary programs and asked for suggestions and improvements. Initially, I had mistaken my function to enable inter-bank fund transfers, in the meeting I was told that it?s actually supposed to be intra-bank fund transfers. So I had to make some changes in order to attune myself with the function topic.

Completed my function program.

Accessed my program that I had mailed earlier and tried compiling and running it. Came across several errors. With some help from my group leader Madhav and a fellow group member Tresa James made apt changes in order to make the program error-free. And it ran successfully!
    Submitted my functions to group leader for the half stage submission.

24-I went over the function that I had written on intra-bank fund transfers & made a few changes.

25-Did not do any project work.

26-Had a batch meeting where we sat down to debug some of our errors

27-Studied a portion of the project submitted in stage-I.

28-Completed studying the project submitted in stage-I.

29-Was selected for sample-viva along with a fellow group member. Realised that the peer-review marks must be more critical.

30-During lab hours,went over my function and realised a couple of errors. Tried to correct with help of fellow group members. Had viva with batch T.A John Joy.Had a batch meeting where we decided to learn Ezwindows

31-Didn't do any substantial project work.

november

1-Went over the 1st set of slides on EZWindows, posted on moodle.

2-Carried on self-study of EZWindows from the lecture-slides posted on moodle.

3-Had a batch meeting to add some more functions. Discussed on how to go about working the same.

4-Was out of campus for Diwali.

5-Kept in touch with fellow group members,over mail, regarding progress of project work.

6-Didn't do any project work.

7 Started doccumentation of the project
